We are all happy to be able to attend some of the Annual CK events that we missed so much during Covid. This weekend June 23-24th is a busy one. Let’s support our local Annual events that attract so many area residents as well as visitors. Get ready for a fun weekend.
The weekend kicks off with parade at 6:30 Friday night June 23rd in Thamesville marking the beginning of a great annual event ‘The Thamesville Threshing Festival’ The route is the same, beginning at the corner of Wallace and Mary St. and ending at the park. There is entertainment, a midway, a beer garden and lots of food. The event continues all day Saturday ending with a fireworks display at 10:15. Bring the family and have some fun.
In addition, the Annual Art in The Park in Blenheim takes place on Saturday June 24 from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M. at the beautiful Talbot Trail Place Park. Artists, Craftsmen and talented people who create unique pieces of art will be there. Wander the beautiful park and enjoy a fun day with the family. I am sure there will be lots to see and even some food to stop for lunch. There are also several great restaurants in Blenheim as well as some unique shops on the main street. Discover this little town. It is a real gem in CK.
Then head to Erieau for their annual Boulevard of Dreams Car show from 12-4 P.M. on Sunday June 25th. Cars will line the boulevard. A wonderful opportunity to talk to the proud owners and enjoy all kind of classic cars. The Church always puts on a Fish Fry and it’s fantastic. Hope to see many of you there.Boulevard of Dreams
