Last weekend was the first scheduled Classic Car event for Chatham-Kent, Retrofest. Unfortunately, it had to be cancelled due to the weather. Our thoughts are with all those disappointed volunteers who work so hard to plan and put on such an event. As of yet, I have not heard if the event has been re-sheduled.
This weekend, Saturday June 6th, is the 3rd Classic Car, Truck, Tractor, and Bike Show at Scot's parking Lot 20 Dupuis St. from 9-3 P.M. on Saturday. Wow, there is something for everybody’s taste! Scot's is sponsoring the Breakfast and the Beer Tent and the Lion's Club is sponsoring the barbeque and refreshments. a real joint effort! There will be a 50/50 raffle, great food, and entertainment, the GTO Band on the Auto Mall Stage. Looking for something to do on Saturday with the family? This is the perfect event. The weather report is telling us that this warm sunny weather is going to last for the next 2 weeks. Saturday, June 6 is also the first of 3 scheduled Coffee and Cars at RM Restorations. Enjoy coffee and fresh pastries on a first come first serve basis and visit RM's world class restoration shop, machine shop and private museum from 8 a.m. -11 a.m. One Classic Car Drive Blenheim Ontario.
