Because there are so many species found here in CK participants enjoy no limits on what can be legally caught each day unlike more strict regulations in nearby Michigan.
Waterfowl season opens the last Saturday in September, this Saturday September 27th to mid -December, while goose season extends into early January with an additional week in February. My wife and I were in Mitchell's Bay yesterday and saw evidence of hunters getting ready for the coming season.
